A few more romantic quotes (darn ... still a long way to go!)

That is the true season of love; when we believe that we alone can love, that no one could ever have loved as much

before, and that no one will ever love in the same way again. -- Goethe

For one human being to love another human being: That is perhaps the most difficult task that has been entrusted to us, the ultimate task ... -- Rilke

And for the more cynic readers and non-believers in love:

First love is a kind of vaccination which saves a man from catching the complaint a second time.-- Balzac

:lmao: I was going to use that in my signature line, you crazy guy!

Oh you wanna bring out the big guns, huh? Bring it.

The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.

- Carl Jung

What else is love but understanding and rejoicing in the fact that another person lives, acts, and experiences otherwise than we do…?

- Nietzsche

There is no remedy for love but to love more.

- Henry David Thoreau

:bunny:

heh. I love quotes. I have a whole file of them. I'd rather use the words of someone else than my own bumbling verbal fumbles.

But most importantly for you Blind_Otter:

"Whatever you do, you need courage. Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising that tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a soldier needs. Peace has its victories, but it takes brave men and women to win them." -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Hullo all, especially you big "A" :D

I always like to update you guys....

My friend K and I talked last night. He has contracted a version of the "awful horrible flu" that had me bed bound for 4 days. Hey, like any woman, when I went to the doc for a check up on tuesday I was like, wow I lost like 5 lbs. Hah. It's sick, I know...I don't even need to lose any weight but a tiny part of me was like, well something came of being so ill. Snort.

K and I were talking and he's like, hey did Mr. T call you? I was like, no, why do you ask? He says, this is weird, but Mr. T told me that he called you. I started laughing. He is delusional I guess. Why on earth would he feel the need to lie to our mutual friends and say that he had talked to me? K said, well whatever, forget I said anything, and I was like, no way - what did he say I said? K said, well I asked because the whole story sounded ludicrous - of course when he said he called you I said, wow what did otter say? And Mr. T said, oh nothin'. And K said, this sounded weird because K knows me and knows (a) I talk A LOT and (b) I am the "bitchinator" - I can out bitch almost anyone.

Weirdos and their addictive behaviors.

I have been trying hard to get healthier in my life. Because I have been so sick, I haven't been smoking pot, which is actually doing me a helluva lot of good. I mean, I totally plan on rolling up a fatty and smoking on of friday night, but I really don't have to urge to get high until then...like I know it will get me so stoned I will just want to lay like broccoli, so until then I got sh*t ta DO, so I will save up my bag for then....

BO,

The "awful horrible flu" sounds like it can be some sort of epidemic. Probably you are extra susceptible to small diseases and flus. If you have grown a bit underweight, there is nothing wrong with gaining a few pounds again. Most importantly is of course to eat healthy.

Forget Mr. T. It is possible he indeed suffers from hallucinations. As much as you know of him, with his addictions, and his recent behavior that is very likely possibility. Don't concern yourself anymore about him. There is nothing you can do for him.

It's good to see that you are succeeding in living a more healthier life. By smoking less pot you not only reduce the health-risks for yourself, but also improve yourself in other regards. Other regards that can be chosen partially by you (take up some time on one of your own interest, a love interest perhaps) ...

And the more you succeed at kicking back your bad habits, the more you will see and get in return in the future.

Keep up your spirit.

Oh and by the way, I am held up in customs. I know, I should not have taken my crown with me.

:love::laugh:

Or maybe it was the 7 foot lance you insisted on trying to "carry on" on the plane! You silly knight errant, you.

I love a man with a 7 foot lance. har har har.

No, the lance was not a problem. In fact personnel used it for their own desires. If you wonder about the mysterious killings, you know what weapon was used. I have given my statements already to the authorities, too.

Neither was the flail ("good morning", so that needed some smooth talking) a problem.

Neither was my royal stallion one. Probably because it was the third smartest creature on the plane.

But alas, my crown ... it seems likely that all procedures will last another couple of days. And a prince on a mission should never travel without his crown. You know the customs.

Ah! I finally received the encouraging news, that I am finally able to carry on, with my crown on my head. So  yay!
