Can a relationship survive without a connection?

Recommended Posts

Is it possible for two people to fall in love and stay together even if they have next to nothing in common, have very different taste and in general, don't have an emotional spark apart from being able to talk and are attracted to one another?

Is an emotional 'click' and lots in common able to go amiss?

What are your opinions?

I don't think your question makes sense honestly.

For me, If I'm attracted to someone, there's going to be some sort of emotional connection/spark.

Sure a relationship can absolutely work when you have nothing in common and different tastes. IMO, since I'm a very open minded individual, I LOVE to experience new things so it would be an adventure for me to be introduced to new things. I don't see how it could be anything short of exciting.

On the other hand, two closed minded people with nothing in common, not willing to experience new things obviously won't work well.

Ok so maybe basic spark has to be there. But what I'm talking about is that mental connection where you both share the same values, morals, sense of humour. You just get each other.
