dk030993 Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 i have been in a long distance relationship for 1.5 years now.. both my boyfriend n i are in medical school but we live in different states.. like 2456 miles apart.. and because of our demanding studies we only meet fr like 20 days every six months.. this time when we met we went through alot of fights and my boyfriend being in his final year is under a lot of pressure plus our fights have made him very depressed and dejected and he has sort of just given up he has been going through alot of separate stuff too that has made him totally cynical and the other day he just went ahead and aid that he cant handle it anymore we then discussed our situation and now we are trying to make it work but he doesnt give me any assurances please can anybody give me ANY helpful suggestions?? depserate here! d0nnivain Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 Your medical schools have to have a counseling program for students. They know how stressful your studies are. Take advantage of those counseling sessions individually. When you get yourself under control you may be less likely to put stress on each other. 1 Link to post Share on other sites
