carla Posted March 2, 2005 Share Posted March 2, 2005 For thoses of you that don't know my story; one year ago today I popped the question to the man of my dreams. It was leap year, and a lady can do this type of thing on leap year. I asked him on St. David's Day (March 1) It's like St. Patty's Day to the Welsh. Anyway to make a long story short, after a planned romantic day I asked him to marry me and he said yes. The wedding date is June 25. ( less then 4 months) Anyway he had bought me a ring for Christmas 2 years ago and we have been using this as my engagment ring. Today my sweetheart proposed to me. He made me a card, with a beautifully romantic poem that he wrote and presented me with a beautiful ring. To be honest I was so touched and busy wiping my eyes I don't even remember if I said yes or not. I've spent the day admiring my new ring. Link to post Share on other sites
