lynnered
Never resist a temporary inconvienvce to result in a permant improvement. Every saint has a past, Every sinner a future . A man who gives up his freedom for security has neither. (don't remember it 100%) Today I begin to understand what love must be, if it exists. When we are parted, we each feel the lack of the other half of ourselves. We are incomplete like a book in two volumes of which the first has been lost. That is what I imagine love to be: incompleteness in absence. Goncourt

morphius
The meaning of life... Is learning that to fall in love is not a conscious choice of the mind, But rather, An unconscious occurrence of the heart, We come to love not by finding a perfect person, But by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly. d'Arthez
"There cannot be a God because if there were one, I could not believe that I was not He." - Nietzsche It seems that not only Nietzsche believed that "Courageous, untroubled, mocking and violent-that is what Wisdom wants us to be. Wisdom is a woman, and loves only a warrior." - Friedrich Nietzsche "The most spiritual human beings, assuming they are the most courageous, also experience by far the most painful tragedies: but it is precisely for this reason that they honor life, because it brings against them its most formidable weapons." - Friedrich Nietzsche Nietzsche's theory on super men is intriguing, although often misunderstood. One of the reasons of that seems to be his attacks on Christianity, and the so called "slave-morality."

Craig
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people around you won't feel insecure. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us: it's in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. - Nelson Mandela
