PogoStick
She was my "girlfriend" in 5th grade. Meaning we used to hold hands at recess and talk on the phone every night. We just reconnected and I saw her pictures, and wow! She's on the right, at 34 y/o and after 3 pregnancies. Amazing too, that she had a sweet personality, was never stuck up, or in the mean popular crowd. How can I go on in life knowing I peaked at 10 years old?
carhill
Early emotional memories are often the strongest and most long-lived, for better or worse. Some people with sweet personalities also have the benefit of being widely attractive so experience life in that milieu. Others are not so noticeable. That's how it goes. Regarding 'peaking', that result will be unknown until you're dead and, by most accounts, or lack thereof, you won't remember the result so it won't matter. By and large, regardless of our perceptions, people are imperfect, though I also had my share of placing certain people on 'peaks'. Part of life I guess.
