Mr Scorpio
I have consumed 3 tins of Weight Gain (and eating like a gremlin) and doing buttxercise for the past 2 months every.single.day.... and yet, my body still looks as skinny as ever. Are you expecting your ass muscles to get bigger?
Author NJ123
Because you said this 'But I don't want to be a jacked up monster lol.' Surely before you become a 'jacked up monster' (which would take YEARS) you just stop? Yeah, I meant in general that I don't want to look like that. She was asking why not go into bodybuilding & I said I don't want to look like a "jacked up monster". I know if I really put the work in & did everything right I could possibly get really big over a long period of time. But of course I obviously know it takes a long long time to get big. You just took my post out of context, that's all. Edited September 27, 2014 by NJ123
dichotomy
ON is a very reputable company. I use their gold whey protein powder every day. Don't know about the weight gainer specifically but you can trust Optimal Nutrition. Free weights, and using a good system like 5x5 stronglifts is a great way to build basic mass. a 5x5 program is not really body building - it is a basic mass and strength building program. What gym are you attending that you need a spotter? If you are still too small and not strong - use dumbbells as starter. Most decent gyms will have dumbells up to 100lbs each. Also many good gyms have power cages so you can use the safety bars for safe benches and squats and presses on your own. Deadlifts will most certainly help you build mass as well but be sure you know how to do them properly. Go with basic weight lifting moves and go heavy. If you are very new to lifting - I would suggest you do get instruction on how to lift properly a few times from the gym instructors or buy a DVD on it. That's why I got it from them. And I'm not new to the gym, but I've never done anything like deadlifts, bench press or squats.

Through my daily buttxercise, yes... but the weight gain is mainly for the rest of my body to get bigger. I don't care which ones - arms, legs, heck waist too why not, just anything, lol. LuckyLady13
In my opinion, it had little to do with the protein powder...You probably just have the type of body that responds to weight training..If it was the powder then you should have contacted the company....Show them before and after pics and you would have had a lucrative endorsement deal.. If I had any idea what was going to happen to me, I think I would have! I never thought I'd have to back off so hard either so get "smaller". It did have to do with the weight gainer because that amped up my muscle gain so much faster it was insane. Before that things were just a lot slower. But I have to say that over anything else, my trainer was so excellent. I think the very best thing a person can do going into a gym environment (unless you're already a massive bodybuilder) is hire yourself a trainer at least for a few weeks. No matter how much you've been to the gym, having a trainer puts you on a fast track even if you already know what the machines and weights are for and how to use them. As long as the trainer has perfect posture and a very evened out build, they can help you achieve whatever it is your goals are very quickly. So much more quickly than going at it alone or with an inexperienced friend. Then again, you can just always go with a US Marine if you know one! They're a blast at the gym! Best spotter, best partner I ever had but wow, be prepared for a little hazing though. (After the first day, my arms were paralyzed for 2 days and my buddy thought that was just hysterically funny. Then again, I was laughing through most of those 2 days myself! Muscle exhaustion is serious but just one time...it's also a good form of entertainment.)
Author NJ123
So I just tried the weight gainer for first time tonight & even with 1 scoop it's WAY too much to drink. Next time I'm going to just use half a scoop. And 2 scoops is considered 1 serving. That would make me sick to my stomach.

I don't care which ones - arms, legs, heck waist too why not, just anything, lol. Three things. One, I'm no expert, but I'm guessing that you cannot make your butt muscles noticeably larger through diet and exercise. I've just never heard of such a thing. Two, understand that whatever muscle you DO put on, you will have to maintain through diet and exercise. The commitment is non-stop. Three, bear in mind there is nothing wrong with being skinny. Some guys love skinny women. Emma Watson > any Kardashian.

My body frame is similiar to hers, tiny waist and slender arms/legs, the only thing is she has awesome shapely butt - thanks to 4 years of buttxercise. That's my aim. I've only started daily buttxercise for 2-3 months and on my 4th weight gain tin... but super impatient, lol. But you're totally right, all those takes dedication and non-stop commitment. I don't think Kardashian is attractive, just Jen Selter!
EasyHeart
My friend Eric Cartman used a product called Weight Gain 3000. It turned him into a beefcake.

If she got work done on her face, I wouldn't put it past her to get work done on other parts of her body too. She didn't have an attractive face at all before she got work done on herself. Nothing about her seems natural to me at all.

Author NJ123
You do realize that you didnt put on that much in lean muscle..if anything? TFY Doesn't matter. I need to gain weight in general, so adding anything at the moment is good. I'm 5'7" & weigh 133 pounds at the moment. My goal is to try to get to around 150-155 eventually. If she openly admits to getting surgery on one thing, who says she hasn't on on other things? A lot of other people feel the same. She'll never admit to getting butt implants or whatever else since being a fitness model is how she makes her living. People always seem to overrate these women just because their famous. Like Kate Upton for instance, I don't think she's as attractive as a lot of people think. I see girls at my gym who I think are more attractive than her. Andy_K
I'm strongly considering using a weight gainer. Much as I'd prefer to eat food, I'm reaching the point where that's simply not feasible... My maintenance level is 3500 calories a day now, and that is a LOT of clean food. I eat every two or three hours at least, and I'm stuffing myself with peanut butter just to hit my requirements. I need to up my calories to continue gaining, and right now it's hard to see how I can fit much more food in!

Andy_K
Just curious but what's your daily meal plan look like? Mostly it closely resembles this: Large bowl of Porridge for breakfast A banana and some peanut butter as a mid morning snack Protein shake before gym Rice and chicken for lunch after gym with another protein shake Mid afternoon snack of something like natural yoghurt and oats Evening meal of chicken or salmon with a heap of vegetables Evening snack of more chicken Bedtime snack of cottage cheese, and another big lump of peanut butter. All foods are weighed & calories counted. The above isn't set in stone, some meals are replaced with alternatives with similar macros, in order to balance out what vitamins etc I take in, although I do use omega3 and vitamin tablets too. That's cool. I don't really take any tablets except for Centrum multi-vitamin. I used to take fish oil for a bit but stopped. I should probably start taking it again though.
