frozengirl
I was talking to my parents about me applying to jobs, and I had told them I had applied to some retail places more than once, they ended up telling me that why apply to a place 5 or more times it's obviously I am not going to get the job. Do you think they're right? It's not my fault I keep seeing the same position from the same place popping up every few days or months so why not reapply?
pink_sugar
I don't know, if I don't get an interview after that many tries, it's not likely they are going to hire me, so I move on.
evanescentworld
Agencies put enticing fictitious ads out to draw in the clientele. Companies advertise the same post repeatedly, not because the position exists, (it often doesn't) it's to gauge the employment situation, and potential response and possible number of applicants for future existing positions. Standard practice in the UK.
