Keenly Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Depending on where you live, there should be copy service providers that cater to small businesses and should allow you to make a purchase of a small amount . 1

Author darkmoon Posted October 13, 2014 Author Posted October 13, 2014 am srsly only seeking how to do home-made cards thanks
Survivor12 Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 The problem with making them yourself is that toner will flake off when the card is put into a wallet which will not leave a good impression. An inkjet printer is a little better, but most home printers do not do well with heavy card stock & a lighter weight paper will also appear cheap. Since the purpose of business cards is to project a professional image, quality is important & worth the investment. 1

Correct, they can be made at home with a Good quality Inkjet printer/certified card stock(Avery). A Word processor program or publisher program, And card stock setting on the inkjet will produce adequate cards. I work in the industry and have yet to see it smudge or flake unless using cheap cardstock and cheap (non OEM) toner/ink or damage to the fuser. No longer is the image of having a business card verification you are who you say you are. With todays technology, anyone can make business cards, either legitimate or not.
bathtub-row Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 You don't need to give up. Go to Office Depot or someplace like that and they sell business cards that are already sectioned off and perforated. When you print out what you want on them and break them apart, they look great! You'll need to do the design yourself but Publisher has some templates that you can use, if you have that, or just do something that's really simple. I've used these cards many times. They really do look nice. 1
jonsnuh Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Had this problem before. Started using a service like VistaPrint and designed my own card. The stock was pretty good and as mentioned above, the ink print is important. Don't do the cutting yourself just to save the money. You'll feel better and more confident worrying about one less thing. Trust.
d0nnivain Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I like the $10 for 100. Vista print is another option but the smallest order may be 250. I think you can also buy perforated card stock at a place like Staples & print them on your own computer.
MidwestUSA Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 If you do a google search for Vistaprint coupons, you can usually find a free offer.
