question about my prescription

my doc told me to take one 500 mg ampicilin pill per day, but then when i got the pills from the pharmacy the bottle says take two per day, what should i do? what the doc told me? or what the bottle says?

You should call the pharmacist and tell them what the doctor told you and ask their advice.

i have had many prescriptions, and doctors will tell you that taking two 25mg pills don't always equal one 50mg.

 

or take 2, fake a reaction, and sue like everyone else would.

i just asked em they said theyll double check with the doc tomorow and give me a call, so what shoud i do, just not take another pill and wait for tomorow to see if i have to take two?

Sometimes the pharmacy has to substitute because a medication is not in stock, or EVEN some doctors write it for a strength that isn't even available (yes, doctors can be dumb too). Make sure the bottle says 250, then you take 2 250's to make 500.
