I think I am losing my mind.

Recommended Posts

It's happened twice now, that I know of. I got up, made food, ate it, cleaned everything and went back to sleep. Wake up to see in the garbage, stuff tossed in the preparation of food I dont remember eating.

I was ready to just be OK with that.

But today, I was going to go up and talk to a girl and ask her out or however it goes.....and then I was pulling up into my garage and parking my car. It wasn't like when I ate and had no memory, it was more like all of a sudden I am pulling up into the garage and.....wasn't there something else I was supposed to do? Like talk to some girl? WTF zombie me!!?? I can recall everything here, but I was just a passenger.

Like when I was younger and I had to force myself to approach women. But not really. It'd be like I blink and suddenly I'd be already talking to the girl and it was too late to back out. Or I really didn't want to go to the gym and workout, but some how I must have drive myself there and walked into the gym and greeted the front desk people because that's when I come back down.

Depeche Modes song "Never let me down" makes a lot more sense now.

I gotta say though, zombie me has not steered me wrong in the past. It really is like Depeche modes song, Zombie me took me where I needed to be.

However, the late night eating crap is not so good for my morning workout.

The blackout was just twice and fairly recent.

But since a long time, I'd know I need to do something, but I didn;t really want to do it or was nervous about it and I set up to do it, but the parts where people (I) can chicken out, is just blur I remember after the fact.

Like going up to girls. I want to go talk to this girl. I am kinda sure she likes me, but.......and then I was already talking to her  . But then I think about it later and I can remember everything, I just don't remember actually doing it. I haven't done like that in a very long time.

But this is the first time where I wanted to do something and instead, I didn't do it.

Imported,

It is not unknown for people to sleepwalk to the fridge, make something to eat, eat it and go back to bed and not remember doing it. However, if you are having these "blank" spots in your everyday waking life then you must see your GP/physician.

It sounds like a mild form of epilepsy, so it is very important that you get this assessed quickly. If it is epilepsy, then it can be controlled with medication.

Good luck.
