EverLastluv
I read your tread but it seems as there is lots of different reasons for shaving religious /hygine etc. I have had one of my ex bf told me not to shave. I usually would have a nice shave with thin line on top, that was not enough for him. But for my self, I wont leave it just because he likes it that way. What ever makes me comfortable is what he should like.

He likes what he likes and you aren't going to change that just by being insistent or because something makes you more comfortable.
RickFox
I won't tell a woman who is bare down there that she looks 12, I'll say mmmm bring that sexy delicious flower right here so I can devour it.
chimpanA-2-chimpanZ
Congratulations to the OP for framing this in such a thoughtful way. Let's abbreviate the thread title to "Anger against women" and cut the post to: Why isn't it because its simply a woman's preference and she just likes it that way? Why does her choice always have to be about culture or men? People will always be angry about women's choices no matter what they are. We're not yet at a point where most people accept that women can do things because they just want to. I've never seen much discussion about men with piercings, but if you bring up the subject of belly rings you'll end up with ten pages about if it makes her a %#*$)@. We can't win. (I keep things shaved and trimmed for practical reasons. I'm a powerlifter and find more than a little hair VERY uncomfortable when I'm working out.)

I have no idea what you are talking about..I have tattoos....Some people judge...and some dont..Its no different men or women...And the last time I checked, women dont walk around in crotchless clothing, so how would anyone know anyway? The difference ??...I dont care "who wins"..No one has to accept my choices and they are entitled to their opinions..be it good or bad..Some people dont need acceptance for their choices... MercuryMorrison1
It just seems like a bunch of over thinking to me. Some prefer pubes, others don't...The end. Personally I prefer hair down there...Doesn't mean that I'm condemning all women to have bush before I show the slightest interest...Honestly weather a woman shaves regularly down there is not high on my list of reason's i'm attracted to her at all. And I certainly wouldn't write a potential off simply because she shaved/waxed regularly. But to each their own I guess.
Phoe
I keep the vulva area shaved and the upper area just lightly trimmed, and that's purely personal. I'm the only one seeing or touching it. The lower area is shaved just because hair itches me there, or a caught hair can pinch or pull on skin. The upper area is NOT shaved, because that's the largest area, and once you start shaving the whole area, it becomes more time and maintenance, and the ingrowns or razor burn right on the pubic bone is killer. By only shaving the vulva area, it's a pretty small area of skin, only a few passes of the razor, maybe 30 seconds total, and way less irritation than on the upper area.
TigerLilly78
This seams to be quite a hairy subject... To be honest I use to shave clean until the razor burn and itching got to be to much to handle trimmed works just as well imo..
SincereOnlineGuy
I have noticed that women who don't shave their lady bits, and also men who prefer unshaven lady bits, frequently hurl around the insult "women who shave look like they're 12". Why? Why does nobody ever say "you shave your armpits? You must look 12". How come shaving lady bits in particular necessitates these insults, but shaving your legs or armpits doesn't? I dunno... is there a social STIGMA against admiring/noticing armpits which look like they're twelve years of age??? Is there a LAW against photographing or possessing photographs of the armpits of a twelve year old??? Does one get in trouble at home or school for transmitting photos of ones own underage armpits????? What if one is drawn to tall women? Is one chastised by society all around for noticing a twelve-year-old who is very tall??
guest569
For me, shaving rash, burning, itching.. No. A lot of men have very strong preferences on hair or hairless vulvae. There's strong arguments going both ways from men and women. I dont really see why it's such a big deal. I couldn't care less! Do what you are comfortable with. Sorry but if my partner doesn't "like" the way i have chosen to present my vulva/labia, then he should find another woman.
Billzebub
My wife stopped shaving after we got serious, but just the other night she shaved her vulva bald. Let me tell you, she has been gone down on like crazy ever since.
