irc333
Saw a recent FB post of someone that was tagged and in my feed. Apparently this guy took a pic of his g/f and celebrating this day as their anniversary date of having lived together for 2 years. From the sounds of it she sounds like a real sweetheart as she takes good care of him. However, when someone commented with "Happy Cohabitation Day!" And thought how overly wordy that was to say as opposed to the traditional Happy Anniversary" To me something like that is not really deserving of a celebration. Esp when I hear "Me and my b/f just got engaged!" I've replied "Cool! When is it?" When they respond "Not sure. No real rush. " "No season or year? Nope. It's then I figure there is no real cause to celebrate such mediocre things. Your thoughts? Of course society has recently given credence to celebrating mediocrity such as "in a soccer game, there are no winners or losers."
