Big momma
I so desperately want to lose weight so that my health will improve but also to look good for myself and my husband! But here I sit pigging out on cake! I just don't understand why I can't resist food ( good food)!! Sometimes I feel so hopeless and depressed! I have lost 7 pounds in the recent weeks but still have much more to go!
Mr Scorpio
I just don't understand why I can't resist food ( good food)!! Because you take comfort in eating comfort food? Because you are "addicted" to the chemicals your brain releases when you eat fat and sugar? Because you aren't yet dedicated enough to your goal? Because you keep things like cake in the house? Because your concept of good food involves things you shouldn't be eating? The good news is that you can overcome all of that. Baby steps. Small bites (figuratively and literally). For example, a great place to start is water. Drinking more water will make you feel full, will help your metabolism, and aid in your digestion. How much water do you drink in a day? deathandtaxes
The cake is filling an emotional void. These problems are best handled by a mental health practitioner. Wanting to lose is good and all, but me thinks there are some other issues at hand. And that's why you're eating cake.
