Mommame2 Posted November 20, 2014 Share Posted November 20, 2014 I have recently gone through a divorce and our son (as posted elsewhere) has been brainwashed by his dad ...who trashed me for not telling this 8 year old that I was on dates or traveling with my said boyfriend. I had never introduced son to this man -- as a boyfriend. Only friends...since he had kids -- we did playdates. Well, my ex ruined that...by exposing all of this to our son. Anyway, my question is -- if a child ends up hating your new boyfriend or girlfriend --what do you do? It's not an issue really for me right now -- anymore -- but it was a tough moment for me -- since my ex caused this. If your child hates your longterm and possible future spouse -- then what?
