It it ever really worth trying to get back together?

I ended a three month relationship with a woman about two months ago. Nothing was wrong in particular, she was great, but it was becoming obvious our interests levels were not in the same tier. I forget the exact reason why but somehow she had mentioned she was a virgin with strong hints at wanting to have sex and I don't feel comfortable with being anyone's first. I decided it was best to end it. We talked a bit and I told her I'd prefer to remain friends but if she didn't feel comfortable with that, we could end all contact but it ended with 'I'm taking a break but I promise we'll have one more date.' since she was, for whatever reason going on in her head, convinced I would come around. We haven't met each other since then though we text near daily on a very friendly basis.

 

After taking a break, I started dating other women again but to say it has gone poorly wouldn't be an understatement. Again, not bad people but after dates with 7 different women but just impossible to see it going anywhere with them. And to be honest, the feeling of missing her has begun creeping up on me. So that's where I stand now, a meeting between us again will come but I'm not sure if that's the official end or now. If it makes any difference I'm 25, she's 23 grad student. Thanks.

Buddy, you should end this fling if you can't respect her decision to maintain her virginity until...well, whatever she's saving herself for. If you are not comfortable being her first, then there is no sense dragging this out. It'll just be more painful for everyone in the end. If you truly like being with her then I say you give it a shot and respect her wishes. But don't play this young girl. Just read some of the stories from the guys on this forum whom are obviously being "monkey-branched" and "yo-yo'd" around. It sucks and trust me, karma has a way to break your world apart.
