StandingO
Stay away from the steriods no matter what. My GF used to compete against women who used them. In the long run it is a bad move. She never has and never will. Shes was once very body aware etc and has some body symmetry issues but never touched the stuff. It was her genetics. Where one person thinks is a issue another thinks its a attribute. We all have different tastes. She embraced them. I think her body is top notch. You look great and in time your will gain more size and muscle. Just maturing into your body takes time. Not sure how young you are though. I also don't look that muscular and big with my shirt on either. My chest is noticable but a baggy shirt can hide a lot, good or bad. It does show up when I wear tight clothes (top half only lol). I got chicken legs and not supposed to work out heavy below the waist (doc's advice). Some of my physique is genetic some of it my long time work out habits. Still even with my chicken legs I am told I look pretty darn good for my age. I admit I get a big self conscious when weariing shorts or in a swim suit. Still I would never take steriods to fix this up. Very few of us look near perfect. Even with flaws we can look pretty darn good. I think 9 out of 10 women if not more would think you look pretty darn good.
StandingO
What I meant to add is yes, it is reasonable to get great look without steroids but genetics is such strong factor. Hard work and great eating habits can do wonders over time. You are doing well so keep up the good work
Gloria25
Your pics look great... I don't know, but I don't like bulky guys....I like toned/athletic guys - not skinny boys in skinny jeans, but not bulky like Arnold either.
Andy_K
I don't know, but I don't like bulky guys....I like toned/athletic guys - not skinny boys in skinny jeans, but not bulky like Arnold either. Right, but there's this misunderstanding that as soon as you touch a weight you'll look like Arnold. 99% of people can't even get close to that, not by a long shot. See the model pics he posted? 90% of guys training naturally won't ever look like that either, and they look athletic, not bulky. The reality is that unless you're genetically gifted, or decide to carry a significant amount of body fat (most of the bulky guys you see at your gym will not even be close to having abs), it's not really possible to look 'bulky' rather than 'athletic', and where it is, it takes years of effort and does not happen overnight.

Sadly this isn't the case. 10 out of 10 women would think I look exactly the same as every guy who doesn't work out but isn't fat. A few might like those pictures but I very rarely meet women while just wearing my boxers lol. Your pics look great... I don't know, but I don't like bulky guys....I like toned/athletic guys - not skinny boys in skinny jeans, but not bulky like Arnold either. The pics might to you but chances are I wouldn't if you met me. If we both put on a shirt I wouldn't look noticeably different to a guy like this... http://bodybymitch.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/skinnyfat.jpg
nofeelings22
I rhink you're just getting discouraged and down on yourself. Here is another data point for you. Me: View image: Pics Art 1418215638470 This is what I look like. Not big, just some build. With this build, even as I've been around for almost 4 decades, I have no trouble attracting some of the hottest early 20's girls on the planet. Keeping them, or finding 30's girls is another story! lol But those super huge guys you are imagining and comparing yourself to are actually a turn off to most women. The majority prefer the hot soccer/futbol body type. Don't strive for that huge, hulking mass. Just do the absolute best you can within your body type. Well you are actually quite a lot bigger than I am. Not just in terms of muscle, look at the width of your wrists and forearms compared to mine, you just have a much more masculine body. If you were told my body belonged to a 15 year old you might well believe it, nobody would believe your body does. Essentially to look the same build as you I'd have to have a larger amount of muscle than you. I also don't think those pics I linked are particularly huge compared to you? Bigger yes, but the difference between them and you is probably less then the difference between you and me lol. Its also important to remember I'm not saying my body is so gross no attractive woman would even consider dating a guy with a body like mine. Attractive women do date men with bodies like mine, or even quite a lot worse than mine, but those guys look better in other ways. I'm ugly, short and skinny (even if you want me to say I have an average build, its still not sounding great!). Which of these am I most likely to change? I could never afford or go through with limb lengthening surgery, I don't see how anyone would/could, so I'll never be tall. I can't afford plastic surgery and even if I could I'd likely still not be particularly good looking since they can't fix the asymmetry in my face, so I'll never be handsome. Getting bigger muscles and a better body is the only thing I can really do to make myself significantly better looking in the eyes of at least some attractive women.

Look at how you talk about yourself, OP. That best thing you can start changing is how you see yourself. You have to stop using negative words when talking about yourself. Get some help if it's this bad. Do you even know what the opposite sex finds attractive? It ain't muscles under clothes buddy. It's a nice smile. Kind words. Compassion. **** like that. You're so ****ing hung up on your muscles and how attractive it's going to make you to somebody. But it won't. It's just superficial bs that you're buying into. If and until you figure this **** out, you're going to be one unhappy ma***ka. Drop the muscle mags. Quit looking at yourself in a mirror. Can you stop posting in this thread because everything you say isn't related to what I've asked. Women aren't attracted to muscles, broad shoulders, height, strong jawlines, ect. in the same way men aren't attracted to breasts, hip to waist ratio, youthfulness, ect. In short, you're wrong, they are attracted to those things. Edited December 10, 2014 by JohnnyRico

Go ahead, OP take those steroids and wreck your health on some misguided notion that big muscles are the end-all and be-all of attractiveness. Then come back here a few years from now all jacked and juiced up and tell us how much success you've had. Have you read a word people are saying here? Or do you only read those posts that conform to what you're already looking for? I can meet the sexiest LOOKING woman in the world, but if she's dumb, not cultured, etc then she is not going to be attractive. You're beating yourself up so much saying you're short, ugly, etc. That's killing your confidence, OP. Do you know what's really unattractive? Lack of confidence. Women can smell that **** a mile away.

I think you have body dysmorphic issues. For real. You aren't what you are describing in terms of build. Who knows, you may not even be as short or weird in the face either. You've goit to just say "**** it" and not worry about things. Yes work out, yes, wear good clothing. Yes, good hairstyle. But whatever genetics you got, who cares? I felt the same way you do until my early 20's. And forearms.... lololol. That's my natural thing. If i don't work out, I look exactly like Popeye! lol Scrawny body, giant forearms. I have worked my ass off to try to bring everything else up to forearm size... ha ha ha

Actually OP you are wrong, but for whatever reason you're obsessively hellbent on clinging to the false assumptions you've made about what women find attractive. Even if you have several actual women on here explaining to you what women actually find attractive, you're of the (not so healthy) mentality that you can read our minds and decide our 'true' thoughts for us. If you have trouble attracting women it is most likely because you have a seriously nasty attitude. By all means continue to spend more time in the gym wolfing down protein powder and leaving women the hell alone.

I'm not going to ignore what I've experienced in life, what I've deduced from observation, what ive read elsewhere and what I've tested using fake online dating profiles, just because a few women on an internet forum said something different. I also wouldn't believe you if you told me I can fly, that the sun orbits the earth or any other nonsense that goes so strongly against what I believe. If you really don't believe that the way a man looks significantly influences which women want to date or have sex with him then you may as well give up, you won't be able to convince me of that. Its ridiculous. I have no problem attracting women, just not the ones I want to attract. No doubt you will now make up some bull**** of how less physical attractive women are interested in men with 'nasty attitudes' rather than accepting that generally; good looking people date good looking people, average people date average people and ugly people date ugly people. See what I mean about my body looking like it belongs to someone half way through puberty? Even you assumed so! It's your core. Better than mine. More definition. You downplayed it. Takeba picture with your shirt on and pulling it up to reveal abs to impress the ladies. Arms: You need to hit those harder. We all have to hit the weak areas harder. I do not, in any fashion, work my forearms out. I work my tiny shoulders and biceps out to make things even. You need to hit the arms with gusto. It's hard to work your weakest area. But without any steroids, you should be seeing more than that in the arms, on any body type. Could you describe your exact weekly regimin for arms, including all types of food and caloric/protein intake? I didn't assume an age other than your exact mid 20's age. I meant I felt like you do when I wqs very young but snapped out of it.

And you're right. I didn't change my shape through strength training until more recently. I noticed where girls used to want to date be because I'm nice, etc.... I now have everyone I date wanting to have sex much sooner and sometimes just using me for that. I don't even really initiate the actual sex. I prefer to only having sex with girls I have feelings for and see a potential with, to just do more innocent stuff the first few times out, but now, they jump right into sex. This is a pronounced difference from before reshaping where they went more at the pace I like... slow. The more I look like that mythical guy (a super hero really), the more they jump on you. Fact.
StandingO
I don't have a well balanced body. Muscular and a bit big on the top half but my legs lack size and muscle for various reasons. By description many women would say they are not attracted to this type of body. I found in reality it to be very different. Women seem very attracted to my body and I have a Gf who is also very strong and into fitness. She may make fun about my legs here and there but overall it has zero bearing on her attraction to me. Now I would agree that having some upper body muscle is a bonus and attribute that has some influence on many women including mine but it alone is not why I have her as my gf. Your confidence, attitude smile, eyes, face etc make the rest of you body so much more attractive to them.
