Try this. Get a pen a write a detailed letter to your MM. Don't hold anything back. Include intimate details about how he hurt you, his lies were hurting people, how you are grieving. Be emotionally honest with yourself. Finish writing it. But don't mail it. But go and burn it. It might sound stupid, but give it a try. Writing can be a powerful outlet as seen by how many people are on here.

I will try this. I have written letters I never sent but the burning idea sounds kinda fun. I think I am putting to much expectation on getting over this is a timely manner. I was hoping 2 months of NC would clear my head completely, but seeing as I am 2 weeks away from that idk anymore. Can I ask you how long you have been NC?

The letter exercise is from my therapist as a method of letting go.

I've been NC since the fall. But who's counting? I refuse to count the days.

This stuff can take months or even years to fully recover. The more vulnerable the greater the hurt. Don't think in terms of "if I reach x days I'll be good." That's like trying to predict then you'll recover from being shot a few times.

It depends on the severity and help you get. Your close friends and family are the best way to recover. One day you will know you have recovered. In the meantime, stay away from any relationship till you are all good. You can't fix the effects of a toxic relationship by jumping into another relationship.

Maybe it sounds like I know what I'm talking about but I'm a long way away from being whole again.
