EverLastluv
When I met my fiance 3years ago I was in the gym working out staying healthy and fit. When I met him, my fiance was too Jelous of me going to the gym. I stop going, baught a tread mill thinking I would get on it. That never happened because he always have plans to go out to dinner, cook, BBQ every weekend by the beach etc I gained at least 50lb while we were together and 25lb in the last 3 monts after our break up. I know my system how it works. I have always been a big my entire life, I was never skinny. All I had to do was mantain and stay in shape. Now that I lost control over the past 3years its soooooo hard for me to mentally get back in the gig. I need some kind of positive vibe to get with it again, being stress eating sweets to mantain happiness is making me worst and worst. I love me. But the numbers on the scale is going up. How to start loosing this weight?

How to start loosing this weight? it's interesting how people manage weight and stress. a break-up is very good for me because i tend to not eat and end up losing 10 or so pounds. you need motivation of some sort to get you going, and only you can really find out what that motivating factor is. people can tell you lots of different things but only you know what will work and why. how about just the thought of being attractive to a guy again, and making yourself look your best for when you meet the next person? or start by eliminating just one thing from your diet completely. the one thing that maybe adds calories and serves no purpose, like cookies, or whatever.
Maleficent
I stopped smoking in my early twenties. Went from 120 lbs to 200 lbs in the span of 10 years. Tried everything. The only thing that worked for me was weightlifting and Crossfit. Started about 6 months ago and I lost 15 pounds and a lot of inches without even changing my eating habit (which were, admittedly, pretty ****y) in about 3 months. And I'm talking heavy lifting weightlifting. Not that 3X12 reps crap they have you do in gyms (cause I tried that too). I'm still weightlifting. I haven't really lost weight on the scale but my family and co worker keep telling I look like I've lost weight so I must be simply burning away the fat now... (btw I'm female)
Author EverLastluv
Good morning, I wake up early as 5am to start walking on my tread mill , by time I got geared up with my sneakers on I was feeling some pain in my lower back. so instead I did some stretching. Mizz Layta
I lost 30 pounds by using Myfitness pal which is program to track your calories just like weight watchers but this one is free unlike weight Watchers. You can eat whatever you want as long as you don't go over your calorie goal so it doesn't feel like a diet. You can set yourself to lose 1 to 2 pounds a week depending on how much you want to lose. It wont happen overnight but if you stick to it you will see the results within 2 months if you stick to the program . when I joined the gym again, i lost few pounds initially but then I stalled and my weight loss slowed down. Then I found out about myfitness pal and started tracking my calories .At that point the weight started melting off and it turned out I was eating too much calories despite going to the gym. To lose weight, you have to be in a calorie deficient. Gym or not For instance lets say you go to the gym and burn 500 calories but then afterwards you go to Macdonals and get meal or eat a bunch of junk food that are high in calorie ,then you will just put it back and you wont lose if your input is higher than the out put. Here is the link of the site I used if you are interested. Its free and it works. I highly recommend it Free Calorie Counter, Diet & Exercise Journal | MyFitnessPal.com
Million.to.1
Why don't you get back into the gym now your fiancee isn't going to "be jealous" about it? you obviously liked going before, so start going again.
deathandtaxes
Put down the sweets....they are not your friend. Find something else to occupy you when the urge hits. Don't keep that stuff around. If it's not handy, you won't be tempted to grab them. How to start losing weight? A good start is using something like Miss Layta posted. Eat less calories than you use in a day. Keep track of what you eat. Find out how many calories your bodies needs on a typical day. There are plenty of calculators for this. I like this one: Calorie Calculator - Daily Caloric Needs I used the above to help me lose a lot of weight (~95 lbs) over the course of a few years. I started watching what I ate and became a lot more active. You have to find that motivation to get on the treadmill and do other things. Do it for you! Do it for your health!

MercuryMorrison1
I went from 245lbs to my current weight of 170lbs doing P90x. It's was hard...REAL hard, The first few weeks I did it, I felt like I was going to die, I've never sweated to much in my whole life, and on top of the physical challenge I had to train myself to eat proper foods and more importantly proper portion size's. Personally though, in my experience weight loss is simple...Burn more calories than you take in. You should still take it roughly 1700 - 2000 calories a day, it of course varies depending on your sex and overall size, and of course your ultimate goals. In the end it probably doesn't make to much difference if your doing P90x or frigging Richard Simmons sweating to the oldies, as long as you are up being physical doing physical things for at least an hour or two a day, on top of eating properly you should lose weight. But don't take the scale's weight to seriously...While it is a measure of how much total weight you are losing, often time's especially if you are working out ontop of dieting, you will build muscle (Which has more weight that fat) while burning fat. A better measure IMO is the size of the cloth's you can fit into.
