Been running 5/3/1 for years now and reset 2 weeks ago after an 8 month block including the challenge the first 3 months thinking to go high frequency. Well... kind of broke down. Tired, lifts going down. Not recovering... Don't think I have been this close to overtraining since the last few weeks.

Checked for a different program for a bit and the juggernaut method appeals to me and is based on 5/3/1 a bit. It is even more volume than I am used to in month long waves of 10 - 8 - 5 - 3 for the big 4 but without the need to do the volume + balls out heavy weight. Give my CNS a bit of rest I guess. Though will be doing 5/3/1 cleans, inc bp, front squats, pendlay rows but none of those lifts are too taxing as the weights stay lower.

Anyone did this program before? Yea or nay on the program and how I set it up?

You absolutely do need a break at times. I've switched away from 5/3/1 for the moment, going to go back to it again early next year.
