Dork Vader
I'm just getting back into exercise after a month af Rehab. While at rehab I had to do Yoga every morning and enjoyed it. I was curious how should I work Yoga into a weekly exercise routine? I go to the gym abd lift weights and/or do spin bikes every other day. I'd like to toss some Yoga into it the stretching is great. Emilia
I do some after each session. It's such a lovely way to wind down for 10-15 minutes, love it. Otherwise used to do it on Sundays too, perfect on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
genuinelyloverly7
First thing in the morning, after my hot water and lemon juice but before I eat breakfast is best for me.
Standard-Fare
Yoga and spinning is a great combo. If your gym offers yoga classes, maybe try to get there an hour in advance and do your spinning first. Some people are really good at doing yoga on their own, guided by DVDs or YouTube or whatever. I'm not one of those people. But if you are, you can easily try to fit that into your daily/every-other-day routine.
dichotomy
I used to do yoga on Sundays, my main off day from all other exercise. Now I do it between weight lifting days and before MMA practice.
newmoon
i'm not a yoga person, but pilates. i was in rehab too for a while, for my back. they advised me that yoga/pilates are best suited for the morning so that your body gets the stretching it needs before you do daily tasks. so i do pilates almost every morning and then other exercises later on. i don't think yoga should be tossed in, but done reguarly.
