Absolutely true. And dogs will rub a toad no matter that it can actually make them sick later.

A pleasant variation: I bought some flowery soup before Christmas and one of my dogs was trying to roll in it before I ever got it out of the bag! Yes! A big improvement! Now if only my dogs and cat would take a liking to something to improve their breath.

It would be quite cool if our olfactory organ was as defined as a dogs but instead prone to delight in the sweeter side of life......

logically i actually think that chemistry in particular pheromones has little to do with attraction in humans.....when attraction can be dictated as soon as you hear a word from their mouth.......i think the spark is pure psychological makeup....for if it were chemistry, than that would not explain to me how so attractive a scent, can become horrid and repulsive over time.......deb

Pheromones don't exist in humans. We barely produce them and lack the organs and neural pathways to detect them. It's bunk science to sell things to gullible idiots.

**You negate your own arguement.

Think about it this way: if pheromones were a thing for humans, the biggest thing they would be for is indicating womens menstrual cycles. Yet men are famously, historically, culturally iconably, incapable of inferring that a woman is on her period or at the peak of her cycle.

Ok. We will use your own argument. WHY then, will a group of women have their menstrual cycles 'sync-up' (most often to that of the most dominant female) when they are living together for a long period of time? How do their bodies 'know' to do this if they are not recieving some sort of chemical signals?

It isn't an argument, it's scientific fact and not up for debate. Go and read up on it. Numerous studies and trials, medical science. The fact that pharmaceutical companies aren't producing any pheromone related products should tip you off even if nothing else does. Those guys love to make money.

*Heavy sigh* Ok. Before I even begin to explain all the things wrong with your above statement, let me ask you this: "Just WHAT do you THINK pheromones are, and how do they work, exactly?"
