Redheaded Mistress

Well, the OP asked for reasons why people would have affairs, so people will turn up who are the OW/OM and speak about their affairs candidly and nonchalantly.

So very true. It is disturbing to read. My marriage has been non existent since I discovered my WH affair. Yet, I haven't cheated. No person or circumstance could make me betray my own values. Cheating is a personal problem. My stbx is still in IC 2 years later working through his.

I'm glad he's seeking resolution for himself and that everybody is moving forward.

Good people cheat, bad people cheat, good people stay faithful, bad people stay faithful. It all depends on the circumstances we live and are dealt. Really, in most situations of life, the phrase "there but for the grace of God" really could apply.

Then why would you ask the question of OW if you didn't want OW to come and answer you?

Or is this question a pretense to rounding up those who resemble the OW who wronged you so that you can judge them for their cargo-pant wearing middleclassness?

Listen, you ask a casual question of a demographic on a forum for that demographic, you're going to get the answers you requested, even if you don't like the answers themselves. It's a bit disingenuous to put a call out to all OW to answer your question, then turn around and tell them who give you that answer entitled and selfish and their situations disturbing.

I think everyone is entitled to their opinion. whether they asked for someones opinion on the subject, or not.
