Dealing with an ex wife

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I recently had my child support lowered and all was good until I found that my ex wife moved to a higher position about a week after courrt. I'm about to blow and need some guidance. I did everything in my power to try and make everything fair. But this is just the cherry and I'm tired. I know if I say something to her she will not care. She probably makes about double what she did before but all she seems to care about is taking as much money from me as possible. Any ideas?

Yes! It's just money and it's for CHILD support. So it means more money for mom, which means more money for the kiddos. Let it go and enjoy life.

It's true. Child support is not affected at all by mom's salary. Whether she makes 10k or 200k per year, she's still getting the same amount from you by law. You need to remember that, when you're divorced in America, "fair" does not exist. Make peace and enjoy life, as the previous poster said.

If you had your support lowered and your child(ren) are well kept, why do you care what her income is  ???
