AVarma
Maybe they were lazy before but started taking life more seriously? Maybe they were jerks before but are now decent human beings? Did you have trouble at first believing they could change? Basically do you think people can change or they basically remain the same? Do you think there is a certain age after which people can no longer change?
NJ123
As long as you're alive you could still change. A lot of people change later on in life. A lot of people aren't the same person at all anymore at 40 than what they were at 21.
robaday
A lot of people I know have changed......some for the better some for the worse!!! One thing I will say is though most of my friends, now we're in our thirties, are less concerned about appearing cool, are less materialistic and less arrogant (and sometimes rude). Age has chilled most of us out. People in their late teens/early twenties can often be self absorbed (not always clearly) whereas I've found in my thirties people are more comfortable in themselves and once rude people/obnoxiously cocky people are now more caring and interested in others..... could be way off here.... beach
Yes! But most of them had very strong reasons to be motivated to change. It takes hard work and an open mind - but it's worth it. It's very exciting to see someone change too for the better - like watching a miracle!
