Who here has used botox?

It isn't that expensive, I had it done and boy do I feel great!

I just got my forehead done, a little goes a long way! I had the minimal dosage.

What has your experience been with it?

Why did you do botox? You have lines on your forehead?

Two friends of mine have deep well-formed horizontal lines on the forehead, a man and a woman. It looks great on both, gives them a wise look. I'm almost jealous.

Nevertheless, I started doing facial exercises (or facial yoga as it's called ).

looks stunning, so it doesn't hurt to try. I'll share the results in about 30 years :p

I never had deep lines or anything advanced for my age.

Deb - I already donate a small portion of my monthly earnings to various charities. I don't ruthlessly spend money regularly, just a few luxuries now and again isn't a bad thing, you only live once after all.

I can't imagine you needed botox yet Leigh!

I have never had it but am not opposed to it when I start needing it. tbh I see people my age and younger (I'm 31) on FB all the time and think if I had those crows feet already I'd be getting botox already!

I can't imagine I'd do it forever, like I don't think I'd be 50 years old getting botox, but if I get more than just fine lines when I'm still in my 30s then yes I would get it.

I don't have crows feet. Both my mother and her mother had very pale and lovely looking skin in relation to their ages.

I just had a slight frown line although it wasn't more than usual for my age of 28 (it is my birthday in two days, yikes!)

There is a noticeable difference after the botox and I feel great about it. It does make a difference for the average 28 year old! Although I have to say, many women in their late 20's don't actually have any forehead lines yet. I wasn't one of them (although again, nothing more advanced for my age than usual).

It looks better that is for sure I am thrilled with it.

Leigh, I'm worried about the slippery slope you're starting on. If you're getting Botox at 28 what do you imagine you will be feeling the need to do at 38, 48, and 58?

I guess I don't understand the strong abhorrence towards aging. Sure we can and should try to age well by eating well, living a healthy lifestyle and taking basic precautions (sunscreen, etc). But we will still age, as nature intended us to do, and IMO it is healthier to learn to accept it instead of struggling to look 16 all the time.

Not intending this as a knock against you, I am all for people doing whatever makes them happy. But I just hope you will try and maintain a balance later on.

I have always planned on a nose job and botox.

I always knew I'd have those two things.

I don't want more. It would be way too much. I'm strongly, vehemently against the notion of more than just the botox and a nose job. I want to straighten my nose and have less forehead lines. I don't want to look fake.
