I used to see him dropping off or picking up his kids when I was doing the same. Just curious as to anyone else who met in a different setting other than at work. Link to post Share on other sites

She researched where he worked when she got home, found his email address and emailed him offering to meet him when he traveled to her town. Rainbowlove Posted January 16, 2015 Share Posted January 16, 2015 We met at work. She was new to the area and job and didn't have any friends. She was working for an awful woman. We became friendly. I had an opening in my department and hired her. 3 months later, I moved to a new job 60 miles away. We started having contact through IM and text and email, daily. At first, it was to help her learn the new job I had hired her for. The woman who took over as her boss, didn't know how to do her (XAP) job, so we talked daily and I answered work related questions and she supported me as I learned my new job. We leaned on each other during these transitions instead of our spouses. Work converstations turned into personal talk and sharing. Then conversations became all day long. End of story.
