My boyfriend is outgoing and friendly. He has lots of friends and I'm very cautious when he speaks with and hugs females. I occasionally look in his phone for text messages and phone calls he has received or made. I look in his wallet and pockets when he's not looking. I'm curious to see who's calling him. When we first started dating, he saw an old female friend one day, gave her a big hug then picked her up like he was about to carry her over the threshold! I was furious!! We talked about it and he hasn't done it since, until last Saturday. With the same girl!!! He claims that he wasn't flirting and that they are like siblings. I still get angry! There are other times that other things have occured. What can I do????

It is who he is. Get over it, or get over him. It is who he is. He will be this person FOREVER. It is who he is. He can't change, and you shouldn't expect him too.

If you can't accept this behavior, then you need to break up with him.

My best friend is married to a guy like this. It got on her nerves that these women were so nicey nice with her man, but she got over it, because he is DEVOTED to her, and MADLY IN LOVE with her. He's just really friendly...that's who he is. That's who she fell in love with.

AND LET ME ADD that I could NOT handle a relationship with someone like this, because I'm not that secure. But there's nothing wrong with men like this. I don't think they'd cheat in a million years, they are just full of love, and are very friendly. I am toooooo jealous to handle a man like this, so I married a shy man. Which being married to a shy guy has it's drawbacks too, because he never wants to go out with me and my friends, because he's shy...but it gives me a lot of freedom to do what I want when I want, and still have him waiting at home...because he's too shy to go out :o

My friend's husband, however, is romantic, and passionate, and sweet, and loving, and patient, but he's friendly with everyone...and not just the men... you have to take the bad with the good.

My husband isn't huge roses and candy and cakes with rings in them, but he's romantic in his own way. Like for our wedding anniversary he bought me an easter cake, and took the bunnies off of it for me :o Coming from my shy guy, that was sooo SWEET!

But he's not overly romantic.

Just...find someone who's a better match for you. Or, realize that if his only flaw is that he's too friendly for your comfort zone, then you can accept and love him for who he is.
