I guess I need to start somewhere.

Recommended Posts

Alright so I guess it starts like this, I drink allot for a teen my age not that long ago I was in the hospital for alcohol poisoning. Before this weekend even started I broke into cars and stole stuff. I broke into the teen center in my town and also into a summer house and trashed them both. I had to talk to some police and the owner of the teen center and I will be doing community service and paying for the damages. I thought this would be a good time to start changing, like stop drinking and stop destroying things, maybe do some good.

You have your whole life ahead of you. You really don't want to continue on this path or you'll end up in jail for the rest of your life. Absolutely turn it around now before it's too late. There is lots of help out there, too, for people who want to change their lives - don't be afraid to take advantage of it.

good for you satch, good for you. sometimes change is the hardest thing you face, but when you succeed, when you reach the goal you've set, it'll have been worth the sweat and tears you've poured into it.

there's nothing sadder than to hear someone who's passed up a chance to make a change or make a difference, but didn't, say they regret not doing so.

just remember, even if you slip or aren't where you want to be immediately, everything starts with one small step. From there, you walk, then run. And the sky's the limit.

this may sound crazy, but if you've got little kids in the family, especially under the age of 10 or so, observe how they tackle things: they have no fear or taking something on because they see it as an adventure rather than a challenge; they make it fun and creative. And it can be very inspiring to someone (like a young adult or grown up) who sometimes forgets that challenges are also adventures.
