evanescentworld
I would go to the DR if I didn't have regular bowel movements...is there something wrong w/ your diet? When I eat too few veggies and too much dairy I might skip a BM or have too many of themm... but other than that they are like clockwork (between 7-8AM every day LOL). Or you could be dehydrated. If my pee isn't almost clear I know I didn't drink my loads of water that day, blah. It's important to define 'regular'. 'Regular' is a person's own normal...output. If a person follows a particular diet and has bowel movements three times a day, normally for them, and no other effects, then their regular bowel movement is as 'normal', as a person following a different diet and having a bowel movement every other day. If that's normal for THAT person, and they have no other 'side-effects' then whatever a person regularly experiences, is normal. For them. When a doctor asks you whether you have regular bowel movements, as part of a general health appraisal, you have to consider your own habits, rather than consider what the doctor might mean by 'normal'. S/he means, "Have you noticed any difference in your own normal/regular evaccuation?" Only you will know what is normal and regular.
dichotomy
Yeah, but ACV and water IS much better..... Okay I ordered a bottle - organic with "the mother". Will try it in the morning before my workout. Worth a shot.... Edited January 31, 2015 by dichotomy
evanescentworld
Yes. It does take more than 'one shot'....
dichotomy
Yes. It does take more than 'one shot'.... Once a day - in a glass of water -until the 32 oz bottle is gone.

Lion Heart
Not only that detox is complete BS, citrus fruit is acidic, drinking too much lemon water is bad for your teeth. I believe the acids in citrus turn alkaline in the gut = good for you. Many alternative health professionals advise this drink in the mornings for a variety of things. My 2 cousins with lupus do this plus MANY other dietary measures. They live incredibly energetic lifestyles (not all attributed to L in H2O) but I started drinking it without honey for internal issues. Helped I think. Though it has eroded the enamel from my cousin's teeth somewhat. So I cut back. LH
tylerwilson
Drinking a glass of warm water with lemon juice every morning has numerous benefits such as it cleanses your system and boost your immune system, clears skin, and it also helps a lot in weight loss.
badpenny
If you read the thread, those claims are apparently not all they're cut out to be. Now, drinking Apple Cider vinegar with Honey - THAT'S a good thing!
Popsicle
I know a Chinese girl who drinks this all day long and has been doing this for years, rather than drinking tea all day, which stains your teeth. I have recently started drinking lukewarm water with orange slice. I like the slightly sweet better than slightly sour from lemon. I think I will try it hot and see how I like it.

Regardless of what the naysayers believe, it's truly works for me! You're right though about enamel erosion. I drink it with a straw in hopes that it'll help prevent the erosion. lol
