beach_girl
Hi! I started a new job in December and I've realised that I've undervalued myself in terms of salary. A recruitment agent saw my CV. I never saw the job ad with salary, and when my boss asked me what I wanted to earn I gave a figure ZAR3000 less than the minimum they were willing to pay. I found this out by chance when I saw my job ad on the Internet. I'm wondering if I can ask for a raise December 2015, specifically referencing the amount in the job ad. Or would this be too forward? pink_sugar
Asking for a raise at the year mark isn't unreasonable at all. I would expect one by then anyways after your first performance review. I'm supposed to get one at my 6 month mark and another one at my year mark depending on performance.
