1. Dinner at a special restaurant and a movie or nice walk.

 

2. Dinner and a play or concert.

 

3. A train ride to an amusement park within a reasonable distance so you can travel, have a good time, and get back the same day.

 

4. Dinner and tickets to a future event (concert, play, etc.) you think she'd like to attend that scheduled for sometime in the future.

 

5. A suprise get together with her friends at a restaurant or at one of their homes. You set it up.

 

6. A small bottle of her favorite cologne, a card, dinner at MacDonalds, and a move.

 

7. A picnic at a local park...and some Godiva chocolates.

 

8. Something from a novelty store that she can use to get a laugh.

 

9. Some Music CDs or a book you think she may enjoy.

 

10. A ride in an airplane or helicopter, if she isn't afraid of them. Prearrange to go to the airfield. See if you can fly to another close-by city, have lunch or dinner, and have the pilot fly you back home.

 

11. If she has a car, take it to have some work done on it that it may need badly at this time.

 

12. An MP3 player so you can download her favorite music from the Internet on a regular basis and she can listen to updated songs of her choice anytime. Lots of free music still at: musiccity.com, aimster.com, bearshare.com, download.com, fileshar.com. toadnote.com, limewire.com and, of course, Napster will be around for a while in some form.

 

13. A gift certificate for a facial and manicure at a nice place in your town. Ladies LOVE facials. Throw in some chocolates or cologne or dinner or something as well.

 

14. If you want something really original, funny, etc. and cheap as well...that you can give her as sort of a joke...go to www.fartbag.com Turn on your speakers for a sample. That is, if she has a real good sense of humor.

 

If you go to some of the larger stores in your town, just walk up to one of the female clerks. They are usually excellent at suggesting cosmetic, scent and other type gifts that ladies of your friend's age would love.
