oldshirt
got one... but my ex is trying to go upside my head... i have a court date coming up so i am kinda playing cool... what can i do to get immediate visitation? That's what lawyers are for. Work with your lawyer and always follow their legal advice. If your ex is screwing around and jerking peoples chains, eventually she is going to piss of the judge and will be in trouble. If you go trying skirt around restraining orders and school policies and such YOU will piss off the judge and be in trouble. This is a case where you need to take the higher road and follow the rules and your lawyers advice even if you don't agree with it.
Thatsunpossible
And try to communicate via the lawyers or by email. That way it's all on record. And yes, you will need to bide your time. It sucks, but if she is really that bad, the court will see through it right away. Based on the rejected restraining orders they already do. She isn't doing herself any favors long term. It will work out.
Mr. Lucky
what can i do to get immediate visitation? Were this a track and field event, it would be much closer to a 10K run than a 100 yd dash. There is very little "immediate" involved absent police intervention and the game plan is more long run than short term. As was pointed out, acting rashly makes you your own worst enemy. Do your homework, bide your time, follow your lawyers advice. As I just wrote in another thread, slow and steady wins this race... Mr. Lucky
