I think it has more to do with your natural body shape, your bone structure and where you gain fat. I have it naturally, even at my fattest. A friend of mine doesn't because she tends to accumulate fat around her waist. But she always has slim feminine ankles which I don't have because my legs are built chunkier. seekingpeaceinlove Posted February 6, 2015 Share Posted February 6, 2015 Contrary to popular belief, I get curvier the more I work out and lose weight. I have a natural hour glass figure but I also hold a lot of my fat around my midsection. When I workout & lose weight, my waist gets tiny and accentuates the waist/hip curve. Upperbody exercise to widen your shoulders. Glute bridges, squats for your butt. These all help to give you a more feminine shape. Wider shoulders give you the illusion of a smaller waist.
