Should I pick someone? How do you figure out what you want?

Hey everyone. I've lurked around here for a very long time. I'm 19 (20 soon), in university, and very confused. I'm "talking" to a lot of girls right now (read: flirty friends), but I'm not really sure what ones are interested in me or just like me as friends. It seems like most people my age are always confused anyway, haha.

I could write stories about each of these girls, but I think I'll save you the book for now. Should I start asking them out seriously? I don't want to mess up friendships over someone who I may-or-may-not be interested in..

Usually, I get all infatuated with one girl and can't stop thinking about that person, and get butterflies when we hang out etc. Then they aren't interested haha. Right now I'm just being a flirt I guess. I don't really have a specific girl I'm into, at least not to the extent of before. They're all in my head. :p And there's different levels of interest from each girl, but the majority of them are making me wonder.

A close female friend of mine (one of these girls) calls me "player" as a nickname now, because of all of these girls, and it's making me think. My friends are jealous because it's like I have constant dates and girls to go clubbing with, but I'm usually shy with accepting invites for stuff like that (since I don't like showing up alone downtown). I've been hanging out with a few of them 1-on-1, but nothing sexual's happened. I'm not really experienced with escalating physically, and I'm always worried about messing up the friendship, because I have no idea who I'm really into.

Help? :(

And yeah, maybe 10 girls or so? Or 12? Couple of new ones I just met that might be added. :p There's about 5 on my mind at the moment. But it's not like they all like me, maybe only one or two do?

You don't have to pick someone. Let something develop on its own. Don't push it, you won't like how it ends.

At your age, you probably won't like how it ends anyway, but no need to tempt fate.

Wait until it's not a choice, but the most natural thing you can think of doing. Like not even a question.

The wait is totally worth it.

Hat trick!
