NJ123
Okay, I wasn't sure about posting this but I decided to. My situation is pretty messed up right now & I don't know what to do. I suffer from severe intrusive thoughts that at times make me feel like am awful person as well as depressive episodes. Also, have a mystery illness that no one has been able to figure out which is causing me all sorts of awful symptoms. I haven't even worked in 8 months now & only have an associates degree. So, I don't know how I'll ever meet a woman in this situation I'm in since I don't even know if I'll ever be 100% healthy again. I just want honest answers if I could ever meet a woman in this situation. I'm not housebound & could go out & do things but it's pretty hard to at times.

Author NJ123
What are your symptoms Headaches at times, ear pain at times, weird sounds in my ear, green phlegm/mucus, dizziness sometimes, a bizarre brain fogginess feeling where I can't think clearly.
BrokenShades
Hmmm... the intrusive thoughts sounds like classic OCD (look up "pure O" if you don't have any compulsions). For the rest... beats me. Seems like everything else is located in the sinuses --> ears, vestibular system, etc. Have you been to an ENT? Have you been tested for Lyme Disease? Have you been to an allergist. Best of luck!
d0nnivain
Long term depression can manifest as those physical symptoms (except for the phlegm). Have you had a full medical work up: blood work, cardiac, brain scan etc? If not, get to a doctor. Somehow you have to push yourself to move, to work, to live. When you start to feel better, other things will fall into place.

What would possibly show up on a brain scan though?

What would possibly show up on a brain scan though? If the blood work repeated comes back negative, it may be more psychosomatic then you want to admit. It was for me. An MRI or CT Scan will show a brain bleed (subdural hematoma) or a brain blockage, possible growths or other foreign matter that doesn't belong there. Those are expensive tests though. I highly doubt it's that serious where it would be something like that. I'd probably be dead by now if it was actually one of those lol.
