Question for OW in an EA

Recommended Posts

Did your MM (or exMM) said he loves you?

I am just curious about the statistics. When it is an EA: it is especially hard to define the motivation. "Love" may be over-utilized in some sense: but I can imagine people having an EA and not professing they being in love...

In my case, my exMM told me he loved me several times.

Yes, he said I am his first true love. Knowing how he is I believe that but never told him myself though.

Honestly how much does "i love you" value. When everything is right and intense it always being said.

My ex ap often said that, even after a week of dday he called to say i love you. Then for no apparent reason he became distant and eventually NC after two weeks contacts resumed as normal. it sucks to think of it..

In my A, it went on a little over a year before anything physical happened (we were also LD).

In that time around the year mark he did say he loved me.

I think we all know reasonably when the other person says "I love you" if he means it; with what degree. Unless it is said too early in the relationship of course: which is just a gut feeling for him too.

No he has never actually said it, he told someone else in my presence but not directly to me.

He said he cared, wanted me in his life, asked me to wait for him blah blah

I think all the time he didn't actually confess his 'love' verbally he could pretend to himself he wasn't actually having an affair.
