PMSing... or she's in pain from surgery... or there's something else going on that you're not seeing because she's not opening up.

You're going to have to ask her, we aren't inside her head.

many people are difficult when they are in pain.

However, if she's being over the top, talk to her, to reassure her & calm you down.

She just had surgery and needs you to do everything right now and not give her a hard time about it. She JUST had surgery, dude!

I know that, but she is becoming abusive, I mean threatening, hitting me, she tried calling the police on me twice once for me trying to help her( and then she screamed and told me to get away and she started crying n tried to call the police) N the second time I told her not to take to many advils or shell kill herself. then she turned it into me saying I want her to kill herself, n then she told her sister n then tried calling 911, she tried breaking up with me several times. shes sitting on the couch rite now, she even says that shes going to find some one better who actually is a real provider.

shes acting like a psycho path. i never seen her like this. is it possible they cut clipped her hormone gland or something

Sounds like she's plunged into a depressive episode for some reason. If you haven't been much help before, then feeling a lack of help when she's in pain could be the final straw. Or it may not be anything to do with you, but could be a delayed shock reaction to a scary experience I suppose. Perhaps she should see her doctor and tell him/her how she is feeling. Maybe you could tactfully suggest this?

I am only going to make one more suggestion since you said she's getting so crazy. And that is find out what prescription pills she is on and google the name of the drugs and look at all side effects. Also, supervise and be sure she is only taking the amount she is supposed to be taking. Also, You mentioned Advil. There are some other type pain pills that may not mix with Advil or any other over the counter drug in that same category. So while you're looking up drugs, also look in the section that lists medicine you're not supposed to mix with it, It will all be listed in the same place once you find a good medical listing for the drug but will be in different paragraphs. Be sure she is not having a reaction to mixing drugs or a side effect to the pain med she's on. You can't call her doctor, but you can maybe make her call him. Ask for his nurse, leave a message and have her call you back and she will ask the doctor about it.

If you have to call 911, then round up all the pills, prescription and otherwise, she may be taking and hand them to the paramedics.

Meanwhile, do whatever she says.

Medication or perhaps she has a fever from an infection, that may explain the increased pain too.

I would get a doctor involved here.

She's in a lot of pain, and might be suffering side-effects from the medicine she's taking.

Is this behaviour quite out of character for her, or has she been like this before?

Be a man and not a housemaid when she's feeling weak and vulnerable. Help her out when she needs it, but also be in charge and dominant. It will make her feel secure and safe. I'm sure it's very disturbing for her in that condition to be able to boss you around like a boodle boy and watch you take it.

Noob, I agree with Satu that it would be very helpful for us to know whether she's behaved like this before. Is this the same GF you wrote about last August in your "She's Giving Me the Silent Treatment" thread?
