I tried it because my mom's friend owned a salon and she let us do it for free. You will look exactly the same afterwards as you did before the body wrap. Nothing will change. What they do (before the wrap) is measure you in about 30 different places, like around your forehead, around both your ankles, and everything in between....both your legs, both your thighs, both your wrists. Then they make you move for an hour....either aerobics or the treadmill or whatever. They measure the same 30 places again after the wrap. They subtract the before and after. They tell you that you lost, say 1/4 inch in each of the places....and 1/4 inch times 30 gives you the total inches. It seems like a lot when they tell you you lost over 7 inches, but considering it came from 30 different body parts, some from the most ridiculous spots (who really cares if you lose 1/4 inch from your neck or your forehead? Even 1/4 inch from the waist is nothing.)...in the end, you lose nothing and it's just a big waste of time. So please, spend your money elsewhere.

I think it is something I might do before a big event if I wanted to fit into a special dress or something. Some of the wraps can be relaxing, have a nice odor - get in some aromatherapy, temporarily feel slimmer.

Unfortunately, it's not permanent - drink a couple glasses of water and it all comes back. I think if anything I'd try a wrap that did something nice for your skin rather than worry about losing inches.
