Recommended Posts

what should I do. my ex had met someone online. They have been talking for about 5 weeks now. My ex and i are trying to work out our relationship, but there is this other women involved. My ex wont let her go or me go. He goes to me "she isn't going anywhere"

whats all that about? My ex and I were together for 7 years and been separated for 6 months. Should I be worried about what is going on between them. My ex told me there is something he likes about her and needs to find that out.

That's what we hope would happen, but usually it's not the case.

I suggest you get tough... trust me, he'll definitely respect you for it, because right now he thinks he's got you in the palm of his hand. Don't make it so easy for him.

so what your saying. Is be more independent and he will see that and there may be a chance we could get back together. How do you think he'd feel if i met someone else. See he is a very jealous person. I say whats good for the gander is good for the goose

Sometimes long distance works, sometimes it doesn't.

You don't have to hook up with anyone right away. Just stay away from him. His recognizing your independence means he realizes you're not going to wait for things to happen. Doesn't mean you'll get back together, although that happens, too.

If you read some of the other topics on here, you'll notice it happens A LOT, and that your situation is very similar to that of others.

LDR's are very difficult. Communication is the key. Right now, he's seeing someone else. You disagree with his relationship to the other woman. If you both disagree on something, someone must compromise in order to get a resolution. He has made his decision. The other woman isn't going anywhere. So you must choose to accept that, or not. Of course, if you don't accept it, you and your BF are going to argue about it a lot. Eventually, it will make you both resent each other.
