Just throwing this out there. My Dad always taught me to look up when walking and smile. I have found doing that..smiling, being kind, being positive and upbeat, does wonders not only for me and my well being but it sure does help others.

Just walking thru the store (such as Target) and smiling and nodding to strangers or letting them pass by in a crowded lane and then saying things like "no problem" or just smiling at them makes me feel better and, I am sure, does a lot for them.

Esp the cashiers at stores. I ALWAYS make it a point to tell them thank you and that I appreciate their help. It's a tough job, esp when so many people can be outright jerks.

Just my little way to help.

Your dad is smart.

There is something that some men never learn about how many of us women judge them...it is so obvious and simple. We judge a guy on how he treats other women.

When I was dating I didn't only notice if man opened the door for me, but does he keep holding it open for the older woman coming in after me? Does he treat the waitress with respect? Is he patient with the cashier when the card machine is on the blink?

Equally important...how does he speak about women in general...positive? His experiences are mostly good? As one can read on these forums, there are many passive/aggressive males with confidence issues who project their failings on to women...enough to start threads, etc. These are the warning signals women look for.

A smile, confidence, optimism is so SEXY in a male. It taps into most women' desire in a mate.

Wish I had did that more when I was younger. Had I known being patient and positive was seen as sexy, I would have. Hmmmmm...since I have been doing it for about 15 or so years now, how many women have I swooned or made a bit moist? Haha.

Just being patient is huge. If some customer in front of me is being a jerk and making the cashier run all over the place, when I get up there and she apologizes, I always say "Don't worry about it, no problem." It goes a long way.
