The point where attraction ceases to exist

Recommended Posts

Just an interesting thought. Do you believe us as humans can only lower our standards so much?

Let's face it if we didn't lower our standards we would have all been extinct by now.

On a 0-10 ranking with 0 being the complete opposite of what one would want, while 10 would be the exact thing one would want, do you believe around a certain number that attraction ceases to exist anymore?

Think of this. If we could lower our standards by as much as we wanted, then wouldn't we be dating even objects so to speak? Such as bottles of water or pens?

This may be why so many people are single I believe. Their tolerance for certain unappealing features in a mate may be to the point that they find them completly unacceptable even though they themselves would have been classified within the same category or rank.

Finding the right person may have more to do with tolerance for certain irregularities, or better yet having a flexible set of expectations.

A lot of people make the mistake of not listening to their feelings or trusting them.

If you feel nothing, you feel nothing. It doesn't matter how great the person is. How much money they earn. How nice they are. None of those things matter. If you can't *feel* for them, then it's just not the right fit.
