Lies....

Recommended Posts

I recently caught my husband in a lie where he admitted to tricking a female into giving him money that we could spend. He said he never had sex with her but she kept trying to get him to. Also the girl turned out to be his cousin and wanted a relationship with him which I find disgusting. She tried to make him get a divorce and kept giving him money for his time spent with her. He says he didn't want to tell me because he knew I would make him stop and she was about to give him 3000 dollars. I'm so upset and I don't want to trust him or be with him anymore. What should I do or what should I even believe for that matter?!

Sorry but this does sound very fishy. And like a hell lot of drama. I understand you wanting to leave, I'd react the same way to be honest.

I would make him stop and she was about to give him 3000 dollars.

How much has she already given him? Are you sure there's been no "services" exchanged for cash?

Normally in a situation where infidelity may be involved, I recommend quietly investigating to get as much of the full truth as possible. This is primarily because you only get one shot at it (once you confront them, everything can be deleted and taken underground) and so that you can make a truly informed decision that you can be confident about for the rest of your days.

In this case, it's so bizarre and twisted that I'm not sure you need to know more. Manipulating a female cousin into giving large amounts of money over (in exchange for his "time") is beyond the pale.

I'm not sure what to even say about this. It still doesn't sound like you're getting the full story from your H.

the best thing you can do to clear it all up honestly is to find out how the girl is and talk to her straight up. She will tell you what he told her etc and you will find out the truth.

from there you can decide what to do but unless you know the whole truth or at least both sides of the story
