truncated
When it comes to being "seduced", are women really weaker than men? So many times, one hears about how married men seduce other women, and how single men seduce married women. It's almost as if the women aren;t able to help themselves. Is this really accurate and fair? Sorry, but I think it's bunk. This is not to say that the men are doing something to be proud of, but I just don't think most women are that weak minded, nor are most men that sleazy.
carhill
In general, I would opine woman are not so easily led, except by certain personalities. Back when my mom was alive and younger, I called it the 'Bill Clinton' effect. That guy was all kinds of wrong in the social sense but man he could charm a woman right out of her dress with Hilliary standing right there. I've known men like that in real life; I don't think they represent the general male. That said, I did see a bit of what you're talking about when I was married. I tended to view my exW and I as equals but I sometimes got the sense that she wanted to be led so had to adapt to that role on occasion. Didn't think much of it at the time.
