SycamoreCircle
One of the "Tests" OK Cupid offers, upon completion, ranks you as a particular dating personality. They are all cleverly written with equally clever illustrations accompanying the descriptions. And I have to admit, I find them alarmingly accurate. My ex left me for another man 20 years her senior. They saw each other, in a FWB arrangement, for a number of months. He broke up with her, and appears to be in a more serious, public relationship with another younger(but older than my ex) woman. Yet my ex continues to adore him and send him fawning messages through social media. He doesn't return the interest, or if he does it's veiled and posts pics of his new flame on vacations to Belize and so forth. I have it on good faith that on the dissolution of my ex's romantic involvement with FWB, the narcissistic rage she directed at me during our BU flared up again. Sorry for the long-winded exposition. In short, the guy that my ex worships(she began to emulate him in dress, lifestyle, and career direction as well as her art), from close and careful study on my part, fits perfectly the profile of The Five-Night Stand, Deliberate Brutal Sex Master OkCupid | The Dating Persona Test. She fits perfectly The Sudden Departure OkCupid | The Dating Persona Test. I fit perfectly The Boy Next Door OkCupid | The Dating Persona Test. Of most importance is the OM, The Five-Night Stand. Ladies, have you ever been enamored of a man like this? A man who has several different women that mean little to him individually but a lot to him collectively? How did your self-esteem weather such an attraction? Can you understand it? Can you help me understand it? Were you beating yourself up a lot? I realize that I'm probably far too enmeshed in the psychology of this thing. But I'm suffering. If I'm going to suffer, I want to at least understand the characters in the story better so that I can be careful to avoid this plot line in the future.
