So, were you one of the ones who deep down always knew that he wasn't going to leave his W but just couldn't bring yourself to admit/accept it, or did you really think you were going to leave your W until the end?

I foolishly did not think it would end with a bang like it did, clearly I was living in a fantasy-land. Myself and my AP had no concrete plan. In hindsight if we had a plan, I would have left my W because now I am miserably being NC with my AP...it wasn't our time I guess, life will have to move on without her.

Your BW was clearly Plan B. Trying to salvage a M you don't really want to be in is not fair on either party.

Well I knew that I would see my AP at some point, today was that day, kinda.

I was sitting at a traffic light when I noticed her staring at me from 2 lanes away. Our eyes locked for 5 or 10 seconds until traffic moved alone. She had the saddest look on her face that I ever saw. I did not pull over to talk to her, I just moved along in traffic. Her daughter was with her, and she knows me...I guess that was some sort of a saving grace. Now I am all torn up yet again and completely conflicted.
