sweetpea01 Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Definitely POSSIBLE if they're virgins, religious, etc. But probably not very COMMON... SP
SexlessAnnonymous Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 I dated a man for five years before we had sex. He was way older than me and was patient until I was ready. Then after we had sex we were together for five more years for a total of ten. It was frustrating that for the first half of our relationship, family and friends assumed we were sexual and they couldn't believe a man would stay without sex, but we loved each other regardless of the sex.
LucreziaBorgia Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Yes, its possible. If its mutual - and there are other positive things taking the place of sex: intimacy, affection, etc - then sure, its possible. The relationship has to be working on many levels, communication has to be top-notch, and the couple has to actually like each other and enjoy the other's company. Both partners have to be on the same page about it, as well.
Mz. Pixie Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 There is someone on here who has a sexless marriage. It may be Hokey but I'm not 100 percent sure.
