Jonp219
I'm starting to see the importance of anger and how we need to utilize it as fuel to make us better people. There are many ways we can release that anger, whether it be through fitness or art. However, what about anger you feel during a moment where it wouldn't be appropriate to get angry? Say all of a sudden you get angry but you're out with friends, how can you release that tension without ruining your day/night? This is the problem I've always had with my anger, when I start feeling tense my mind goes into auto pilot and I say whatever comes to mind. Does anyone have any tips on this? I would really appreciate it.
gaius
You just have to distract yourself with other things in the moment. Like I start replaying a funny bit I heard on the radio in my head whenever I have to get my mind back into shape. And then deliberately expose myself to what makes me angry right before I work out.
