Cakess
Ok, I've been in this LDR with my high school sweetheart for about 2 years while I went to college in a different state but our relationship became even more strained when he joined the army and we stopped seeing each other even on my breaks However we sent letters and texted when we could, now he has back for a while and hasn't made any move to visit me or keep in contact with me for over 2 months on a daily basis even though he is significantly closer but still a bit aways. He seemed into me when he was super far, but now it seems like he is ignoring me but we don't fight. If I don't call him every few days we never speak so I am assuming he is over me?? I just hate not having a boyfriend but technically, "having" a boyfriend. It's torture. In general the whole thing is painful and I'd rather just stop making those keep-in-touch phone calls altogether...I am just ready to move on. But is it a too cruel thing to do to just drop all contact?
d0nnivain
It seems like he's already taking that tact with you Personally I think it's passive/aggressive, cowardly & immature but in this case, since he's doing the big Fade, I'm not going to task with chasing him to break up.
LoveIsMyReligion
Nothing's worst than being in that limbo state. I'm in a somewhat similar situation. You care about the person but if you're not their priority then you shouldn't make them yours. I say go with your gut, start focusing on yourself and hanging out with friends. I would even go as far as to say start dating again but don't do anything physical yet. If you meet someone new then tell your boyfriend and end it. Maybe someone has some different advice but I about ready to do this myself...
doody
Definitely not okay. Just plain eff'd up. Better to move on.
justwhoiam
Well, you're ready to move on, so why don't you pick up the phone and tell him: Hi, I'm calling to say it's over between us. I wish you well! Bye. He says bye. And your problem's solved!
Syberia
He's already fading away. Just tell him you don't see this working out. There shouldn't be drama in this case, just closure.
