Do women find a guy with stubble more attractive?

Recommended Posts

I understand that it depends on the person and everyone is different. Personally I don't. like facial hair and even though I shave twice a week it's a nightmare. Because my stubble is dark and thick. It takes me a good hour to get a really close smooth shave. I like to take my time. But then I feel so bad thinking of how long it has taken. I beat myself up and feel bad. Trrying to shave every hair. I do go over the same area until the hairs come off. I am a perfectionist. My face gets red, sore and bleeds. Through trying to get every hair off. Please help thankyou.

Some women think it's sexy.

It's hard to feel bad for you when you shave twice per week. Guys I know with dark beards who want a clean face shave twice per day.

If you think shaving your face is bad, try having to shave your legs.

If you are uncomfortable from shaving look into products for sensitive skin. Make sure your blades are sharp & clean. You should store the blade in olive oil to keep moisture away from it while not in use.

I like facial hair just fine, but stubble hurts if a man tries to kiss me with it. Either clean shaven, or more fully grown, the inbetween prickliness hurts!

Grow a beard and keep it trimmed! It looks great on guys with good quality facial hair.

I love a man with stubble when it suits the man!

My LTR man shaved religiously until a festival weekend and when we got home I always asked if he would keep the stubble just for me a day or two longer. :)

Sometimes he did, sometimes he really wanted to shave.

I can't blame him and I never did. He didn't feel clean with stubble but he looked great with or without tbh.

Apologies in advance but this next part may be TMI so do not read if easily offended.

Another of my ex's suited stubble and I said I liked it on him. He was a twit though and assumed that because I liked stubble I also liked it forced directly upon my clitoris...

I remember that night...I screamed in pain and he huffed, puffed his chest out and shouted 'oh, so you don't REALLY like stubble then!!!????' and rolled over.

In my mind this was a WTF moment but I have been wisely informed by several men that I am incorrect on that score. Who knew! Lol! If that is the case these days then I will stay single and pain free..and celibate.

I can't say I would happily be celibate. High sex drive here so the thought of never again is er....well.. :(.

I always thought and in every previous RS that part of the RS has been lips and tongues and not stubble - pretty much like teeth is a no go. I have never and would never wish to cause a man pain.

I like/lurve stubble as long as no one uses it as a weapon of mass destruction on me! :)

My ex seemed to like me with or without stubble, she did say she got bad 'beard burn' from kissing when I had stubble though, haha!

I personally think I look better with a bit of growth, that might also be because I'm bald (shave my head) so I feel like having a bit of stubble gives me some 'colour' I guess.

I do recall a girl at my last job coming up to me when I hadn't shaved in a few days and saying "You've got those 'rugged good looks' going this week, don't you?". That kind of stuck with me, pretty sure it was a genuine compliment.

YES!

Of course I can only speak for myself. I am a woman that thinks every man looks dead sexy and even more handsome WITH some kind of facial hair.

:D :D :D

I only read pro-facial hair stuff once while looking for erotica to read.

One of the writers wrote "Ladies, try to get oral from a guy with a trimmed goatiee. Just trust me on this".

I must admit, I've been curious ever since. :bunny:

If I'm not all that careful, it irritates her lady parts when I'm down there. She likes the way it looks, but it can get in the way.

It's interesting, Tinder recently studied their data (if you can trust that kind of source) and found clean shaven men get more matches than bearded men do. And men who had beards as their main profile pic and then shaved, saw their match rate go up. I believe the whole beard craze is a bit overblown, but every man should rock a look that works for him personally and not follow trends.

Ahh, but this is about stubble. I think I look better with it, but have never noticed an increase or decrease in the attention I get as a result of having it versus not.

I shaved my beard once and all my female friends and the women at work hated it. They liked the stumble after 2 or 3 days, but they hated me clean shaved. I agree with them, I look better with something, either some stuble, a beard or some hair on my chin.

Sometimes when my friends shave their beards it just looks weird and different because I'm used to seeing them with a beard. I wouldn't say it looks bad but i dont like it for that reason. If I had seen them clean shaven in the first place i wouldn't have the same reaction.

The article I referenced in my initial post: Women on Tinder Don't Like Beards

Again though this is beards and not stubble. Still interesting methinks.

Tinder became an instant hit with young people. The main demographic of Tinder are men and women using Tinder are between 18-34.

Out of the 50 million users, only 3% are now aged between 45-54 and 12% are 35-44.

Given that younger women often prefer shaven men this makes sense...at least as far as Tinder is concerned.

As for the rest of us who don't live or dye by some app stats, keep your facial hair boys ;)

I ran out of shaving cream so I had two days of stubble going yesterday and I did notice a little more eye contact from women than normal. I can't tell if it was the stubble or the fact my face was bright red from a sunburn in the middle of April though. Maybe they thought I'm wealthy and just got back from Florida instead.

I love facial hair when it's well groomed. I even like moustaches (on good-looking guys). But there are some men who look better clean shaven, mainly those with very thick or very sparse facial hair.

I'm not a big fan of a full beard. A goatee or some stubble are amazing though! The problem with stubble, though, is that if the guy's hair is too coarse, it will ruin me. And I'm not even talking oral... Coarse beard hair will burn my face. Once it was so bad my whole upper lip swelled up. Not pretty and certainly NOT discreet!

No they're not. Especially if you are like me and have orange facial hair. God's cruel joke. Dark brown up top and full, burnt orange everywhere else. Had a mustache for Movember, my wife never felt more celibate.

Exfoliation soap, provaso shave cream and a Harry's razor. Smoother than a baby's bare bottom :D

Oh... I need to make something VERY clear. Mustaches on their own are NEVER ok.

As for the colour... I mean... it can be sexy! A friend of mine, even though he is not ginger in any way, grows a red beard! I find it really cool and maybe even sexy!
